For all Christians in their vocation
Almighty and
everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed
and sanctified: Receive our supplications and prayers, which we offer before
you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry
they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for
ever. Amen.

Moses went up to God. The LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying,
"Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the people of
7So
Moses came and called the elders of the people and set before them all these
words that the LORD had commanded him. 8All the

Psalm 15
15 Domine, quis habitabit?
1 Lord, who may dwell in your tabernacle?
*
who may abide upon your holy hill?
2 Whoever
leads a blameless life and does what is right, *
who speaks the truth from his heart.

he does no evil to his friend; *
he does not heap contempt upon his neighbor.

sight the wicked is rejected, *
but he honors those who fear the Lord.
5 He has
sworn to do no wrong *
and does not take back his word.
6 He does
not give his money in hope of gain, *
nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
7 Whoever
does these things *
shall never be overthrown.
1 Peter 4:7-11
7The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your
prayers. 8Above all, keep loving
one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9Show hospitality to one another without
grumbling. 10As each has received a gift, use
it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God;
whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies--in order
that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong
glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
