WEEK 16 - SUNDAY
Daytime Prayer
Psalter, Week IV Sunday
READING Deuteronomy 10:12
What does the Lord, your God, ask of you but to fear the Lord, your God, and follow his ways exactly, to love and serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul
Lord, who can dwell in your sanctuary?
- One whose life is blameless and whose heart is true.
PRAYER
Lord,
be merciful to your people.
Fill us with your gifts
and make us always eager to serve you
in faith, hope, and love.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Let us praise the Lord.
- And give him thanks.
READING Song of Songs 8:6b-7a
Stern as death is love,
relentless as the nether world is devotion;
its flames are a blazing fire.
Deep waters cannot quench love,
nor floods sweep it away.
I love you, Lord; you are my strength.
- You keep me safe; your mighty power protects me.
PRAYER
Lord,
be merciful to your people.
