O God, make speed to save us
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.

and crowned his life with glorious martyrdom.
Help us to be like him
in loving you and doing your work.

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
