From Advent until February 2, The Purification of the Virgin (or Presentation in the Temple)

Loving mother of the Redeemer,
gate of heaven, star of the sea,
assist your people who have fallen yet strive to rise again.
To the wonderment of nature you bore your Creator,
Yet remained a virgin after as before.
You who received Gabriel's joyful greeting,
have pity on us poor sinners.
Alma Redemptoris Mater,
quae pervia caeli porta manes, et stella maris,
succurre cadenti, surgere qui curat, populo:
tu quae genuisti, natura mirante, tuum sanctum Genitorem,

O God, Who by the fruitful virginity of Blessed Mary hast bestowed upon mankind the reward of eternal salvation, grant, we beseech thee, that we may know the help of her intercession, through whom we have been made worthy to receive the Author of our life, Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son: Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, world without end.
