TERCE
(Mid Morning)
O God, make speed to save us
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Psalms

Antiphon: Suddenly Michael, a prince of angels, came to my aid.

Psalms are taken from the psalms of the day, or from the complementary psalter.

Reading
At that time there shall arise
  Michael, the great prince,
  guardian of your people;
It shall be a time unsurpassed in distress
since nations began until that time.
At that time your people shall escape,
everyone who is found written in the book.- Daniel 12:1

Responsory
The Lord will send forth his angels.
     - With trumpet blasts and loud cries, they will summon the elect from the ends of the earth.

COLLECT
O God, who dispose in marvelous order
ministries both angelic and human,
graciously grant
that our life on earth may be defended
by those who watch over us
as they minister perpetually to you in heaven.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

SEXT
(Noon)
O God, make speed to save us
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Psalms

Antiphon: Suddenly Gabriel, whom I saw in a vision, flew down and touched me, and gave me knowledge.

Psalms are taken from the psalms of the day, or from the complementary psalter.

Reading
Gabriel instructed me in these words: "Daniel, I have now come to give you understanding. When you began your petition, an answer was given which I have come to announce, because you are beloved. Therefore, mark the answer and understand the vision." - Daniel 9:22-23

Responsory
Bless the Lord all his hosts.
     - Sing praise, all his servants who do his will.

COLLECT
O God, who dispose in marvelous order
ministries both angelic and human,
graciously grant
that our life on earth may be defended
by those who watch over us
as they minister perpetually to you in heaven.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

NONES

(Mid Afternoon)
O God, make speed to save us
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,

Psalms

Antiphon:
The Lord sent the angel Raphael to heal Tobit and Sarah.

Psalms are taken from the psalms of the day, or from the complementary psalter.

Reading
I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who enter and serve before the Glory of the Lord. When I came to you it was not out of any favor on my part, but because it was God's will. So continue to thank him every day; praise him with song. So now get up from the ground and praise God. Behold, I am about to ascend to him who sent me; write down all these things that have happened to you. - Tobit 12:15,18,20

Responsory
God gave his angels charge over you
     - To protect you in all your ways.

COLLECT
O God, who dispose in marvelous order
ministries both angelic and human,
graciously grant
that our life on earth may be defended
by those who watch over us
as they minister perpetually to you in heaven.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
